A Lisbon native who took his first steps at Damaia Ginásio Clube, Prioste joined Benfica's academy as a child and progressed through the club's youth system, signing his first professional contract in September 2020.
He won the Campeonato Nacional de Juniores in 2021-22 and the Under-20 Intercontinental Cup in 2022, before establishing himself with Benfica B in Liga Portugal 2, where his goalscoring output from midfield has stood out. He has since been called upon by the first team, making his Primeira Liga appearances for the Encarnados.
A Portugal youth international from Under-15 through to Under-20 level, he was a runner-up at the 2023 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
