AFS, registered as AVS Futebol SAD, is a Portuguese club based in Vila das Aves in the municipality of Santo Tirso. It was created on 5 May 2023 when the sporting company of UD Vilafranquense was relocated from Vila Franca de Xira, taking over its place in Liga Portugal 2. It has no legal continuity with the defunct CD Aves, although it uses that club's ground, the Estádio do CD Aves, which holds about 6,200.
The club finished third in the 2023-24 second division and won the promotion play-off against Portimonense to reach the Primeira Liga for the first time. It has no senior honours to date and was relegated back to Liga Portugal 2, where it competes in 2026-27.
