Manuel Vieira Nunes Azevedo, known as Manuel Azevedo, is a Portuguese forward, born on 30 May 1933 in Aveiro, Portugal. He joined Benfica from Beira-Mar in August 1954, and left for Torreense in August 1958.
In the matches on record, friendlies included, he played 22 matches for Benfica and scored 10 goals between 1954/55 and 1957/58. His first-team debut came on 16 January 1955 against Vitória SC (National I Division Championship). With Benfica he won the Portuguese Cup and Portuguese League.
