Matheus Philipe Pereira Leal is a Brazilian left-back who came through Goiás and Independente de Limeira, making his professional debut in the Paulista A2 in 2016, before moving to Portugal with Real SC and helping the club win promotion to the Segunda Liga. Benfica signed him for their B team in June 2017; after a loan back to Real SC in the second half of 2017/18 he returned and spent the whole of the 2018/19 LigaPro season with Benfica B. He left in July 2019 for Leixões and later returned to Brazil, playing for Portuguesa Santista, Aparecidense, Cascavel, Londrina and others.
