Stadiums

Sevilla's ground in the Nervión district opened in September 1958 and carries the name of Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, the president who drove the project and died before it was finished. Its steep stands and enclosed bowl make it one of the loudest arenas in Spain, a reputation built on long unbeaten European runs.

The stadium hosted a semi-final at the 1982 World Cup, the 1986 European Cup final and the 2022 Europa League final, and is used from time to time by the Spanish national team. A large mosaic of the club crest decorates the main façade.
