Aspmyra sits just above the Arctic Circle and is comfortably the most northerly ground in regular European competition. Opened in 1966 and progressively rebuilt since, it is a small all-seater with an artificial pitch, chosen because the northern Norwegian climate makes natural grass impractical for much of the season.

Its modest size and the hostile winter conditions have become part of Bodø/Glimt's reputation, with visiting sides often facing wind, cold and a capacity crowd packed tight around the pitch. Individual stands carry separate sponsor names.
