Juventus's own ground in Turin, opened on 8 September 2011 with a friendly against Notts County. It was built on the site of the unloved Stadio delle Alpi, whose running track and poor sightlines had kept crowds away, and made Juventus the first Serie A club to build and own a modern stadium of their own.
Costing around 155 million euros, it holds roughly 41,500-41,700 in a steep, close-to-the-pitch bowl and carries UEFA Category 4 status. It has been called Allianz Stadium under sponsorship since July 2017. Benfica fans know it well: it staged the 2014 Europa League final, lost on penalties to Sevilla.
