Description
The Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Montjuic in Barcelona opened on 20 May 1929 and was rebuilt for the 1992 Summer Olympics, whose opening and closing ceremonies and athletics events it staged. It has been home to Espanyol and, between 2023 and 2025, to FC Barcelona while the Camp Nou was rebuilt. It has also hosted Copa del Rey finals and the 2010 European Athletics Championships.
