David Jurásek came through Czech football with Zbrojovka Brno, Prostějov and Mladá Boleslav, where a breakout season earned him the Czech First League's Newcomer of the Season award in 2021/22. A move to Slavia Prague followed, and Benfica signed him in July 2023.

He is an attacking left-back who gets forward well and has a useful goal return for the position.

After 12 appearances in his first season he was loaned to Hoffenheim in January 2024, and the loan was extended in July to cover the whole of 2024/25. He made 21 appearances for the German club that season, 14 of them in the Bundesliga, and also played in the DFB-Pokal and the Europa League. Hoffenheim finished 13th and he did not appear for Benfica during the campaign.

He has been a Czech Republic international since 2023 and won the Supertaça with Benfica in 2023.
