Daniel dos Anjos was born on 21 January 1996 in Brazil. He came through youth football in Brazil with Atlético Goianiense and Flamengo before joining Benfica's B team in 2017.

A forward, he spent his Benfica career with the reserve side, where he was a regular scorer in the second tier. He was registered with the first-team squad for 2020/21 but his football came with Benfica B, and his season was disrupted by a cardiac condition that required medical attention in December 2020 and kept him out for several months; he returned to training in March 2021. He did not play for Benfica in 2021/22.

He left the club on 13 July 2021 to join Tondela, where he spent three seasons, and subsequently played for Guarani, União de Leiria and Ninh Binh in Vietnam. He has not been capped at senior international level.
