Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace is a French professional football club based in Strasbourg, the Alsatian capital on the German border. Its roots go back to 1906, when the side was founded as FC Neudorf, taking the Racing name in 1919 after Alsace returned to France. The club plays at the Stade de la Meinau, its home since the 1920s, with a capacity of around 32,000.

Strasbourg's greatest achievement was the French championship of 1979, and it has also won three Coupes de France and four Coupe de la Ligue titles. The club's modern history has been turbulent: financial collapse in 2010 forced a restart in the fifth tier, from where supporters and successive promotions carried it back to Ligue 1 by 2017. It has since re-established itself in the French top flight.
