Description
Vizela's ground lies in the parish of Caldas de Vizela, in the Braga district of northern Portugal, and was inaugurated in November 1989. It is a modest two-stand venue with an all-seated capacity of about 6,000 and a natural grass pitch of standard 105 by 68 metres.
The stadium was substantially upgraded in 2020 and 2021 so that it would satisfy Primeira Liga licensing requirements after the club's rise through the divisions, with repairs to the structure, new facilities and a relaid playing surface. Portugal's under-21 side played there for the first time in October 2021.
