Description
A city-owned ground in the Sint-Andries district of Bruges, opened in 1975 as the Olympiastadion and renamed in 1998 after the medieval Flemish figure Jan Breydel, when it was rebuilt ahead of Euro 2000.

It is unusual in top-level European football for housing two rivals from the same city: Club Brugge and Cercle Brugge both play here, so the venue changes colours from week to week. Capacity is around 29,000, and Club Brugge have long pushed for a modern ground of their own, a project repeatedly delayed by planning disputes.
