Description
The Estadio do Bessa in Porto first opened in 1911 and was completely rebuilt between 2001 and 2003 for UEFA Euro 2004. It is the home of Boavista FC and has also staged matches for the Portugal national team. The rebuilt ground is unusual in that the four stands were replaced one at a time while football continued to be played there.
