Óscar Benítez is an Argentine winger who came through the youth system at Lanús and played for their first team from 2012. He signed a five-year contract with Benfica on 6 July 2016 and was loaned to Braga for the first half of that season, returning to Lisbon in January 2017. He made little impact in the Benfica first team and was loaned to Atlético San Luis in Mexico from 2018 until June 2019. He subsequently joined Boca Juniors and later played for Delfín, Atlético Tucumán and Palmaflor.
