Samuel Pedro was born on 24 April 2001 and joined Benfica from Boavista, where he had come through the youth ranks. A centre-forward standing 1.80 metres, he was registered with the B team for the 2019-20 season.

He was loaned to Covilhã in January 2022 and left permanently that summer for Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia, later playing for Jerv in Norway.
