Benjamín Rollheiser came through at River Plate and moved on to Estudiantes de La Plata, where he won the Copa Argentina in 2023. Benfica signed him in January 2024.

A left-footed attacking midfielder who can also operate off the right flank, he is a creative player who relies on close control and dribbling in the final third.

He began 2024/25 as a rotation option in Benfica's attack, used sparingly under both Roger Schmidt and Bruno Lage, and never established himself as a regular. In February 2025 he left for Santos in Brazil on a permanent transfer.

He represented Argentina at under-17 level but has not been capped by the senior side.
