Simón Alonso Ramírez Cuevas is a Chilean right-back who came through Huachipato's academy and made his Primera División debut on 12 March 2016. After a contractual dispute with Huachipato he joined Benfica as a free agent in 2017 and played for the reserve side, remaining with Benfica B through the 2018/19 LigaPro season. He moved to Belenenses SAD in 2019 and then returned to Chile with Universidad de Concepción, Unión La Calera, Unión Española and Deportes Antofagasta. His twin brother Antonio is also a professional footballer.
