Luka Jović is a Serbian striker who broke into the Red Star Belgrade first team as a teenager, becoming the club's youngest goalscorer in the Serbian SuperLiga. Benfica signed him in February 2016 on a contract to 2021, but he made very few first-team appearances in Lisbon. In June 2017 he joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan with an option to buy, scored ten Europa League goals and helped win the 2017-18 DFB-Pokal, and Frankfurt exercised the option in April 2019. He signed for Real Madrid on 4 June 2019 on a six-year contract.
