Edi Maurício Sanches Semedo is a Portuguese winger of Cape Verdean descent who started at Maia and joined Benfica's academy in 2009. He came through the youth ranks and was registered with the club's reserve set-up during 2018/19, his final season at Benfica. He then joined Belenenses SAD, and afterwards played for Mafra, Penafiel, Radomiak Radom, Aris Limassol and Jagiellonia Białystok.
