Pedro Ganchas was born on 31 May 2000 and came through Benfica's academy as a left-footed centre-back, standing 1.90 metres. He spent a period on loan at Sacavenense in 2018 before returning to the B team, and was registered with the club for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

He left permanently in January 2022 for Paços de Ferreira, and in June 2024 moved abroad to Denmark with Silkeborg.
