Miguel Nóbrega was born in Funchal on 17 April 2000 and came through Benfica's academy as a centre-back, standing 1.86 metres. He played for the B team in the Portuguese second tier and was registered with the club for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

He spent a period at Grasshopper Zürich in Switzerland before joining Rio Ave permanently in July 2022. A loan to Piast Gliwice in Poland followed in 2024, and in January 2025 he signed for Vitória de Guimarães.
