Ricardo Miguel Nóbrega Marques was born in Funchal on 13 March 2004 and began in Madeira with Andorinha and Marítimo before joining Benfica in 2016, at the age of twelve. He went on to represent every age group at the Seixal academy from under-15 to under-23 and won the UEFA Youth League and the national junior championship in 2021/22, as well as being capped by Portugal at several youth levels.

A small, quick right-winger, Nóbrega was given the number 97 shirt and made three appearances for Benfica B in the Liga Portugal 2 during 2022/23. He renewed his contract in March 2023 but never played for the first team.

He left in September 2023 for Anadia and moved on to Académico de Viseu in January 2024, then to Estrela da Amadora that summer. A short spell in Georgia with Gonio followed in early 2025 before he returned to Portugal with 1º Dezembro in August 2025.
