Luan Dias Farias is a Brazilian winger born in Porto Alegre in 2003. He was formed at Grêmio and Ferroviária, appearing for the latter in the Brazilian Série D in 2021, before moving to Portugal with Estrela da Amadora in 2022, where he played mostly for the under-23 team and made two senior appearances.

A loan spell at Tondela in 2023/24 transformed his standing: he played 35 matches and scored eight goals in the Liga Portugal 2, which prompted Benfica to buy him outright from Estrela da Amadora in July 2024 for a fee reported at around €300,000.

Very small at 1.65 m and quick over short distances, he was assigned to Benfica B and wore the number 99. He played 31 matches and scored three goals in the 2024/25 second-division season but was never used by the first team, and in July 2025 he left for Al-Khor of Qatar. The 1 January 2003 date of birth carried by all published sources appears to be a registration default; no exact date has been found.
