Beni Yvan Roy Loussakou Souza was born in the Paris suburbs on 21 August 2003 to a family of Congolese origin. Unusually tall for an attacking midfielder at 1.91 m, he came to Portugal to play for Amora FC, making eleven appearances and scoring twice in the Liga 3 during 2023/24.

Benfica signed him in May 2024 and assigned him to the B team. His first season at Seixal was disrupted and limited: he made only seven appearances for Benfica B in Liga Portugal 2 during 2024/25 without scoring, and he was never involved with the first team.

In July 2025 he was loaned to Associação Académica de Coimbra, where his career took off - thirty matches and seven goals in the Liga 3 made him one of the division's most-watched attackers. At the end of that loan, in the summer of 2026, Benfica sold him to C.F. Estrela da Amadora on a four-year contract while retaining fifty per cent of a future sale.
