António Simão Muanza, universally known as Maestro, was born in Luanda on 4 August 2003 and formed at the Academia de Futebol de Angola. He moved to Portugal with C.F. Estrela da Amadora in January 2022 and made his professional debut on 18 January that year against Mafra.

Benfica signed him in July 2022 on a four-year contract and placed him in the B team, where he wore the number 58. Over two seasons in Liga Portugal 2 he made 26 appearances and scored three goals, combining energy and passing range from central midfield, but he was not promoted to the first team.

In February 2024 he was sold to Adana Demirspor of the Turkish Süper Lig, where he played 46 times over two seasons, and in July 2025 he joined Alanyaspor on a four-year deal. An Angola youth international at under-17 and under-20 level, he made his senior debut in 2023 and has since passed 25 caps, helping Angola win the 2024 COSAFA Cup and being named the tournament's best player.
