Nottingham Forest Football Club was founded in 1865 and has played at the City Ground, on the Trent in West Bridgford, since 1898. Under Brian Clough the club won the First Division title in 1977-78 and back-to-back European Cups in 1979 and 1980, along with the 1979 UEFA Super Cup. Forest have also won two FA Cups and four League Cups, and remain the only European side to have won the European Cup more often than their domestic championship.
