Description
<p>Construction of the Toumba began in 1958 and was completed in 1959, the ground opening with a match against AEK Athens on 6 September that year. It has been PAOK's home ever since and is among the most intimidating grounds in Greece.</p><p>The record attendance of 45,252 was set against AEK on 19 December 1976. Renovation for the 2004 Olympic Games, when it served as a training venue, added a four-storey building and a roof over the west stand and brought the seated capacity to 29,000.</p>
