Tynecastle Park has been Heart of Midlothian's home since April 1886, when the ground across Gorgie Road from the club's first pitch was opened with a match against Bolton Wanderers. Hearts bought it outright in 1926. The Archibald Leitch main stand was demolished in 2017 and replaced by a 7,000-seat structure, taking the all-seated capacity to just under 20,000.
