Centre-back, born in Fidenza on 10 October 2003 and brought up in Australia. He came through Perth SC and the Perth Glory academy before joining Parma in 2021, and made 96 appearances for them - 37 of those in Serie A - scoring twice, winning the 2023/24 Serie B title and keeping the club up in the two seasons that followed. He is 1.90m and right-footed. He holds Australian and Italian nationality and plays for Australia, with 17 caps: he captained the Socceroos at the 2026 World Cup, played all four matches, and was named in the tournament's best under-23 eleven. Benfica signed him in August 2026 to replace Antonio Silva, who had left for Bournemouth.
