Diogo Costa Pinto is a Portuguese attacking midfielder who spent five years in Benfica's academy, after starting at Sporting, and won the national under-19 championship in 2017/18. He made his professional debut for Benfica B away to Vilafranquense in August 2019 and played five B-team matches in the first half of 2019/20 before Benfica sold him to the Italian club Ascoli in January 2020.
