Eduardo Fernandes was born in Trofa on 24 March 2007 and came through Benfica's academy at Seixal, developing as a right winger. He is right-footed and stands 1.79 metres.
He progressed to the Benfica B squad and was registered with the club across the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
