Henrique Jocú was born on 9 September 2001 and joined Benfica's academy, developing into a compact central midfielder who could also operate as a holding player. He was registered with the B team for the 2019-20 season.
He left in July 2021 for Portimonense, and later played for Feirense before moving abroad to Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel in early 2025 and then Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria. He has been capped by Guinea-Bissau.
