Trabzonspor Kulubu is a Turkish club from the Black Sea port city of Trabzon, formed on 2 August 1967 through the merger of four local sides: Idmanocagi, Idmangucu, Karadenizgucu and Martispor. Claret and sky blue were chosen as the new club's colours to avoid favouring any of the predecessors.

Nicknamed the Black Sea Storm, Trabzonspor broke the monopoly of the Istanbul clubs by becoming the first team from outside the city to win the Turkish championship, and has taken the national title seven times, most recently in 2021-22. The club has also won the Turkish Cup on numerous occasions. Home matches are played at the Papara Park stadium, opened in 2016 on reclaimed land beside the Black Sea, and the side is a regular presence in European competition.
